Midlife Women! Is your Life Full, but
your Soul Empty?
Imagine travelling to the most beautiful place in the world, in the company of like-minded
women. And discovering your Authentic Self, honing your Spirit of Adventure, and creating
a vision for the rest of your life!
-
Are you ready to have the inner/outer adventure of your lifetime?
-
Have you dreamed of travelling to New Zealand?
-
Been mesmerized by the scenery in Lord of the Rings and Whale Rider?
-
Is it time to do something special 'just for me'?
Women who are drawn to Middle Earth Adventure:
-
Have a longing in their soul.
-
Want freedom from the overwhelming rush of daily life.
-
Give themselves permission to do something out of the ordinary,
adventurous, and life-transforming!
I felt the journey was life altering. Thank you, Jenn, for making
a fertile place for this cosmic change to happen in me.
Going on this adventure at a pivotal time in one's life helps you to redefine yourself
and to clarify your values. I had time to figure out what was really important and
what I could let go of. The outer work pushes you to do the inner work. The walk is
amazingly beautiful. Jenn truly understands women and knows her craft well.

Imagine, time away from TV, radio, clocks,
cell phones and schedules
Imagine, having freedom from all the
demands on your time and attention!
Imagine, having the time to re-discover
the real you.
When was the last time you enjoyed that?
Or have you ever done that?
If you are like most stressed out, professional Baby
Boomer women, you want to:
-
Find your True Self, the one you've left behind as you starting wearing more and more
"coats" of roles and responsibilities demanded by your professional and personal lives
-
Test your boundaries in new ways
-
Re-connect with that inner "wild child" who loves to laugh and play!

I always thought of myself as more of a thinker than a doer,
and I certainly never made time in my life for a trek such as this. I am so glad I
did, though - I accessed a huge store of inner strength that I never knew was there.
Physically, the walk was demanding, but the women bonded together through the experience
and supported one another through it. The inner journey that we took through the daily
coaching made me look deeply at some aspects of my life which had been hidden, and
made the journey much more meaningful. I would encourage any woman who would like
to push the boundaries of who she thinks she is to sign up for the next trek - you
will discover, and love, the woman who comes back!

Imagine, re-connecting with your real
self in the safety of a small group of women with the same desire, and having the
guidance of a trained, experienced midlife women's coach.
Imagine, walking through a landscape
that will touch your very soul-
from the peacock blue water of the volcanic coast to the musky smells of the rain
forest with its silver-leaf ferns and exotic fauna.
Imagine, drinking clear, sweet water,
the purest on the planet, from a mountain stream.
Imagine, seeing the Milky Way and the
Southern Cross in the night skies.
Imagine, having time to be alone, with
no interruptions.
Imagine, using powerful tools to find
your life's purpose, while engaging with other empowered women, like yourself.
(Stumbling upon this adventure was no accident. The women who are drawn to Middle
Earth Adventure are special. Can you feel the synchronicity?)
Enjoy the best of both worlds!
Most of us midlife women, although we might love the idea of adventure,
don't want to sleep in a tent, go without a hot shower, and eat campfire meals.
We want to adventure in comfort!
The Middle Earth Adventure is designed with that in mind:
-
Test your physical, emotional and spiritual strengths by day on a private track
-
Enjoy the safety of walking with an experienced Spirit of Adventure Guide
-
Most importantly, arrive each afternoon at a cosy house
(There are four different unique settings you won't forget!)
-
Curl up in a comfy bed
-
Enjoy hot showers, or bathe under the stars
-
Eat healthy, hearty, home-cooked meals
Have an adventure with perks!
This is a ONE-OF-A-KIND Adventure!
And it could only happen in New Zealand!
While there are many backpacking adventures,
there is NONE like the Bank Peninsula Track.
No track like this exists where you are the sole occupants,
enjoying breath-taking scenery at every turn.
Using the unique landscape experience, Jenn Wright structures experiences
that allow participants to find their own answers and be forever changed.
As I entered my 60th year I decided that if I wanted to get
the best out of my remaining years of life I needed to get my body into better shape.
When a friend suggested this trek it seemed like a great opportunity. Firstly I had
never done anything like this before and I had always wanted to try it, and secondly
it gave me a fitness goal to focus on. I saw the opportunity to walk with like-minded
women and to spend some time focusing on my inner life as a bonus.
Not only did I find I had the strength to actually walk for
four days, up to 6 hours on some days, up and down mountains - something I have NEVER
conceived of doing before - I saw some of the most breathtaking scenery, but I also
gained a lot of clarity about I what I really wanted out of my life. And I gained
new friends. Now that I can climb mountains, anything is possible!

This is an Experience - Not a Race to the Finish
This trip gives you back the peace you need to live
in the present moment.
-
Hear the calls of the seals in their caves
-
Ponder powerful questions on a beach walk
-
Play in the surf - and enjoy the black volcanic sand
-
Stand at the edge of a cliff and breathe in your own empowerment
After you register, you'll receive a Welcome Pack to
help you begin your journey of self-discovery. It includes practical advice including
what to pack, how to shop for boots and how to train for maximum physical enjoyment
of the trek. And the Inner Adventure starts then as well, with some thought-provoking
questions to ask of yourself.
After you have worked through the Welcome Pack, you will have a one-hour individual
telephone coaching session with Jenn.
When you arrive in New Zealand, the Adventure begins in earnest!
You'll arrive in Christchurch on the South Island.
You'll need to arrange transportation via the Akaroa shuttle or the Akaroa French
Connection. These shuttles require a booking reservation.
The shuttle buses make pick-ups from most Christchurch hotels, motels, and B &
B's. Times are approximately 8:00 AM, 10:00 AM and 2:30 PM and cost is $25-$35 NZ.
Then enjoy the historic seaside village of Akaroa, where the trek begins and ends.
The world famous Banks Peninsula Track is a 35 km (22 miles) trail that crosses farmland,
native forest, rainforest, and spectacular volcanic coastline, with a wonderful combination
of polished rocks or sand beaches.
You will never forget the four days and four nights walking the Track with its unique
landscapes, wildlife, and cosy accommodations. Walking at a relaxed pace gives plenty
of time for bird watching, swimming, sunbathing, fishing, reading, beach-combing,
meditation - whatever your Inner Adventuress needs or desires.
You'll enjoy some of the most beautiful scenery in the world, including waterfalls,
sea caves, and a penguin colony. Experience New Zealand up-close and personal.

I have, in a short 5 days done the "inner work" of a lifetime,
that which I never gave myself permission. My midlife trek was priceless,
beyond measure.
What an experience to have at this turning point in my life!

The physical journey was awesome - kudos for selecting such
a beautiful and challenging setting. The mental journey, woven through the ferns,
waterfalls, and seascapes, and enriched by the insightful input of my fellow travellers,
produced a stream of introspection. The channelling of the day's topics enabled me
to develop many insights about who I am and where I am going in this world.
