While paninis are traditionally meat and cheese, it doesn’t take much to get tired of that very quickly. It also doesn’t take much to get really creative with what you’re making in your panini maker! You can switch up everything. You can grill things that aren’t even sandwiches. The only real constant is taht you need to oil (or butter) both sides of whatever you’re grilling. You can make yourself a breakfast burrito and throw it on to be grilled up, or stick fruit, chocolate, and peanut butter in between two waffles. Or, sticking with the sandwich model, you can switch up all different kinds of cheeses and spreads (pesto, tomato sauce, Italian dressing) and fillings (eggplant slices, zucchini slices, red pepper strips, mushrooms, onions, tomatoes, asparagus) to really easily make a wide range of completely different panini experiences.
