The British mandate area of Palestine which included the Golan Height, Jordan and Israel areas was at that time partitioned to Jewish and Arab lands: The Arab designated part was Transjordan, which in 1946 to become Jordan, and the Jewish designated part was KEPT the name Palestine and later in 1947 aprtitioned again by the UN to Arab and Jewish lands…… Israel accepted the UN offer, even though it consisted of only 50% of the original area, while the Arabs rejected it immediately and attacked tiny Israel…. Since they refuse any compromise offer, even when they control the areas they are claiming today for a state the WB and Gaza they refused to declare these areas and a sovereign state….so what get you to believe their bogus claim that they are interested in anything but to destroy Israel and remove the Jews from that area in the Mideast….. everything else is hogwash…… FCOL stands in Net slang – for cry out loud
