For a really long time I quit reading fiction altogether. But now I’m addicted to reading short stories online. They’re a bunch of new writers that I dig that right online. One of them is Christy Murphy. You should check her out. She is a website where you can read short stories online, and it’s pretty cool. She writes all kinds of stuff short stories and creative nonfiction. I like to think of her as a female David Sedaris. Even though I’m a fan of funny stories, I kind of like the stories where she talks about her family the most. Don’t get me wrong, those stories are funny, but they also have a sort of touching quality about them that I like. I think I’m just sentimental at heart.
