NEW TO TELECLASSES?
For our teleclasses we use a bridgeline to make a conference call. All participants and leaders call in on the bridgeline number at class time. The bridgline number will be send to you by email after you have registered for a teleclass. To prepare for your teleclass please find the exact time of the call for your timezone on the World Time Clock The following is important when you call and when you are in the call: 1. At class time, call the number above Only call that number at class time, not before or after the class. No one is 'there' at that number except during the scheduled class time. 2. Please call from a regular phone No cell phones and no speakerphones (unless you use mute). These add LOTS of noise to the call and will annoy everyone. 3. When you call in, no one will know you just joined When there's a pause, feel free to say something like 'Hi, this is Mary from Chicago'. 4. You may call in late, but please don't speak when coming in This will interrupt the call. Listen quietly and come up to speed into the flow of the discussion. 5. This will be an interactive call, so feel free to ask questions 6. When the class is over, feel free to say goodbye to everyone Then just hang up. Please don't stay on the line after the call is over as the telephone conferencing system needs to reset itself. See also 'What is a teleclass' |
